Farm South SUdan
Farm South Sudan (FSS) is a Non-denominational Christian Organization founded and registered by the South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission in the year Two Thousand Twenty-Four, and a member of the South Sudan Food Security and Livelihood Cluster (FSLC). FSS objective is to foster agricultural production aimed at strengthening and increasing accessibility and sustainability of “Food for the stomach and money for the Pocket” among communities.
Farm South Sudan (FSS) is founded on the biblical philosophy and teachings embracing hard work and use of the land for agriculture. 2 Timothy 2:6 “The hard-working farmer who labors to produce crops ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops”. Proverbs 20:4 “Those lazy to plow in the right season will have no food at the harvest”. Isaiah 30:23 “He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful”. Deuteronomy 28:8 “The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the Land”. FSS thematic areas are, crop production, Poultry and livestock, Aquaculture and beekeeping.
Farm South Sudan (FSS) believes in agriculture as the most prominent way to alleviating human suffering and poverty eradication among communities and households in South Sudan, including reducing redundancy among youth and women by engaging them in agricultural activities thus mitigating conflicts.
